Estimating Your Costs

The estimated budget for students is called the Cost of Attendance. For each student, the Financial Aid Office calculates a Cost of Attendance based on tuition, fees, housing, meal plans, and other costs associated with attending the university. This is only an estimate. A student’s actual costs may vary based on their preferences for housing, meal plans, and other variables.

If you are an incoming freshman applicant or student, you can also utilize the Net Price Calculator to determine an estimated financial aid award and costs for your attendance at Mason. In addition to the Net Price Calculator located here, all potential students can also find information on basic estimates and how financial aid determines a Cost of Attendance by visiting their site.
