Financial Aid

The Office of Student Financial Aid (OSFA) at Mason provides financial aid awards to both prospective and current students and assists them with the variety of federal, state, and university processes to determine their eligibility for financial aid awards.

The primary requirement for all students interested in obtaining financial aid from the university is the submission of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FASFA). The FASFA must be submitted each year in order to remain eligible for financial aid. Mason’s priority filing deadline for students is March 1st.

Enrollment Central is able to assist students with some of the different processes for Financial Aid, but if you require specific information about the application or requirements, we recommend you review the following resources:

All prospective and current students are assigned a financial aid counselor that can assist with questions relating to financial aid, FASFA, and financial aid awards. To find your specific Financial Aid counselor, please review the contact information at the bottom of this page.

If you would like to speak with us directly, you can find our office on the first floor of Student Union Building I from 9am to 5pm on weekdays. You may contact the Office of Student Financial Aid through Contact Financial Aid or by calling (703) 993-2000.
